Heidi & Tom - The Three Tuns, Bransgore, Dorset
Heidi and Tom had their beautiful outdoor, rustic wedding at The Three Tuns in Bransgore.
The day started with the girls getting ready at Cedar House, a boutique B&B in Burton, Christchurch where they had stayed the night before. The girls were laid back, enormous fun and up for a good laugh, by the time we left the B&B I could see we were going to have a fantastic day.
The Three Tuns is situated on the edge of the New Forest and not far from Christchurch. It is an award-winning traditional 17th century inn. The setting is beautiful, and showcases Dorset countryside at its absolute best. The wedding venue has a very laid back, country-style vibe, with its outdoor area set within long grass, a marquee for dining and rustic barn for dancing.
The hot June day could not have gone better. The sun shined all day and the big blue sky was the perfect backdrop for such a fun-filled relaxed day. Woody, their chocolate Labrador, played his part adoringly, and was there to greet Heidi at the ceremony (very enthusiastically!) when waiting with Tom for her arrival. After the union, there were bouncy castles and games for the children (and the grown-ups!), a magician and a fantastic band to dance the night away to. Heidi and Tom thought of everything, the details throughout the day were lovely.

Heidi + Tom Spring Pre-Shoot - St Catherine’s Hill, Christchurch Dorset
I met up with Heidi and Tom and their adorable chocolate lab Woody on a beautifully warm Spring Sunday. The couple are due to get married in a few months at The Three Tuns in Bransgore which is situated on the edge of the New Forest. Woody will play a large part of the couples’ big day, so it only seemed right that he was included in the pre-shoot too. I soon realised that he was incredibly mischievous and full of energy, which would give me a good incite into what to expect on the day. We had a lot of fun, Heidi and Tom are a lovely, laid back couple always up for a good laugh - I’m really excited to be documenting their day.
Mollie + Joel's Summer Wedding - English Oak Vineyard, Lytchett Matravers - Poole
Well what a wonderful day we had with Mollie and Joel! Their wedding had been postponed many times due to COVID, but after much to-ing and fro-ing we finally managed to document their big day this Summer! The couple were originally due to marry in 2020 and really wanted to start a family, so they had a small ceremony with their immediate family when they could around COVID restrictions. However, still really wanted to celebrate with all their family and friends together, therefore arranged to re-take their vows this summer in 2022 and have a massive shin-dig at the English Oak Vineyard after. We photographed Joel’s brother’s wedding some years previous, so it was not only lovely to see the family again, but truly an honour to be invited back.
The day started with the girls getting ready at an Airbnb near Wimborne, the family stayed there the night previous due to not being local to the area. Whilst I photographed the girls, my second shooter Laura went off and photographed the boys in Joel’s Mum and Dad’s house in Christchurch.
The couple’s Uncle is a minister at Landsdowne Church in Bournemouth, and they are part of the wider church family. They made their vows in the new light-filled church, followed by a feast of a finger buffet before confetti outside of the church.
The wedding party then made their way to The English Oak Vineyard where they held their reception for the rest of the day, hosted by the lovely ladies at Bellissimo. We absolutely loved the venue, not only was it a beautiful setting, but Bellissimo do such an amazing job at making everything look and run perfectly.
We were thrilled to be part of Mollie and Joels’s special day, and honoured to document for such a lovely, laid back couple!
Nicole + Andy's Summer Wedding - Bury Court, Hampshire
What a lovely day we had with Nicole and Andy! We photographed Nicole’s sister’s wedding some years prior, so it was an honour to be invited back by the family to photograph Nicole and Andy’s. The couple had their ceremony at St Marys church in the quaint village of Selborne followed by celebrations at Bury Court in Hampshire.
The day started with the girls getting ready at the Old Thorns Hotel in a house overlooking the golf course. Whilst I photographed the girls, my second shooter Laura went off and photographed the boys. The couple live in the quaint village of Selborne, close to St Mary’s Church so the boys got ready at the couple’s house and walked to the church via the Selborne Arms for a nerve settling pint.
The couple made their vows at the beautiful St Mary’s Church and we then went on to Bury Court Barn, which is the perfect backdrop for the rest of the day. Bury Court has a beautiful oast barn full of rustic charm with the most amazing gardens to photograph the couple in.
All in all it was a fabulous day for such a lovely couple, we wish Nicole and Andy all the very best.

We met at Ornamental Drive , Rhinefield in the New Forest. It’s a beautiful place for a walk with beautiful trees as a backdrop! Nicole and Andy were great fun photograph, a little shy at first, but quite quickly their personalities shone through :)

Lauren + Keir's Summer Wedding - Maunsel House, Somerset
Well what an amazing and action packed day we had with Lauren and Keir at Maunsel House in Somerset!
The venue was the most perfect setting for their Pagan wedding held outdoors within the grounds in the glorious sunshine. Couldn’t ask for a better day from start to finish…
The day started with the girls getting ready in The Kings Room - an amazing backdrop with a feast of details for us to photograph in amoungst the action of makeup and hair. The boys got ready in another wing of the house, it was great being in the same location as we had plenty of time to get some fun shots of them.
The pagan ceremony was a new one for us, including handfasting (showing love and commitment to each other in front of your friends and family, while also showing the world that you are committed) and broom jumping (is an old pagan custom that was once used for good luck in marriage ceremonies. The idea behind it is to sweep away any past negativity from your life before you start fresh with your spouse). The four elements air, fire, water and earth was also featured. All really interesting, within the most perfect setting.
This ceremony was followed by a feast of grazing tables and hilarious speeches, with all friends and family raucous laughing.
The rest of the day was filled with archery and games, a cigar bar, sparklers, a family guest singer, and a band to finish. All-in-all a fabulous, entertaining fun day - one which we won’t forget in a hurry.
Matt + Emily's Summer Wedding - The Italian Villa, Compton Acres, Poole
Our day started early in Mudeford photographing the girls getting ready in Emily’s parents holiday home, followed by the rest of the day at Compton Acres in Poole. It was a treat shooting in the gardens with Matt & Emily after their ceremony, the location is simply gorgeous! The Italian Villa was exquisite, and the evening party celebrations were a ball!
We loved being part of Matt and Emily’s day, and honoured to document for such a lovely couple in such a lovely location. Fun and fabulous day had by all!
Matt + Emily's Spring Pre-Shoot, New Forest, Hampshire
The weather has been rather up and down recently, one minute snow, next mini heatwave and then typical inclement April weather! Luckily for Matt and Emily the afternoon spent in the New Forest was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky!
Matt & Emily were a lovely couple to photograph, a little shy at first, but quite quickly their personalities shone through :) The New Forest ponies were a must during the shoot as Emily loves them and Matt originally proposed in another area of the forest whilst out with the horses before. Fortunately the ponies played friendly today and we all had a fabulous afternoon in the sunshine.
Looking forward to seeing Matt & Emily again on their big day in August at The Italian Villa in Poole.
Brad + Steph's Autumn Wedding, Great Fosters Hotel, Egham Surrey
Having already had the pleasure of photographing Brad and Steph at the Great Fosters Hotel during their pre-shoot, we knew what to expect from this beautiful location. Being at the same time of year as well, the fabulous gardens and orangery were great to photograph as the leaves are turning into more Autumnal hues.
Brad and Steph made their vows in style with a beautifully dressed orangery, followed by releasing two doves, representing the beginning of their life's journey together! We were honoured to document the start of their adventure together!

Sam + Becca's Summer Wedding - The Tudor Barn, Burnham, Buckinghamshire
Sam and Becca, carrying on from our fun-filled pre-shoot, love to expressed their silly sides and are very natural together in front of the lens. The wedding at The Tudor Barn in Burnham, Buckinghamshire turned out to be a glorious July day, we couldn't have asked for better weather to go with the beautiful location.

Nat + Jake's Summer Wedding - Talbot Heath, Bournemouth
Nat and Jake are two of most relaxed and easy-going people you are likely to meet which came in handy as it was a very large wedding!
The couple made their marriage vows at their family church - Landsdowne Church in Bournemouth followed by a feast of buffet food straight after organised by the church. The wedding party then made their way to Talbot Heath School where they held their reception for the rest of the day, hosted by the lovely ladies at Bellissimo.
We were thrilled to be part of Nat & Jake's special day, and honoured to document for such a lovely couple. Fun and fabulous day had by all!
Jayne + Amy's Summer Wedding - The Square Tower, Portsmouth
Jayne & Amy's cool summer wedding, was the first wedding that we have had the pleasure to photograph at The Square Tower, Portsmouth.
The wedding celebrations started early at 8.00am with the girls getting ready along with close friends at a rented house just a few doors down from the venue. The rooftop had amazing views over the Solent with passenger ships passing and the Round the Island Race in the distance on that day.
There was plenty of bubbles and laughter before the early 11am ceremony began and rather conveniently travel was light by foot to The Square Tower. The venue was definitely the most quirkiest we have photographed and was beautifully decorated by the happy couple.
Drinks and canapés followed on the top of The Tower, fortunately the weather was amazing making the most of the fabulous views towards Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. Early lunch was a roast dinner followed by the funniest speeches that we have ever heard, both girls took the pleasure in telling stories about their policing backgrounds, how they met and generally taking the micky out of each other (and everyone else)!
The day finished with a curry along with music from the amazing Drunk Education and so some fabulous dancing could occur Jayne adorned some rather large scissors and proceeded to rid Amy's dress of the bottom half!!

Nat + Jake's Pre-Shoot - St Catherine's Hill, Christchurch
Nat & Jake wanted to have their pre-shoot at St Catherine's Hill on the outskirts of Christchurch in Dorset. The wooded area meant a lot to the couple, who spent many hours having fun with school friends and during the beginnings of their relationship.
I quickly realised that Nat & Jake were a fun loving and lovely couple to capture, regularly laughing and expressing their silly sides, I cant wait to document their special day at Landsdowne Church and Talbot Heath School in July.
Sam + Becca's Pre-shoot - Hengistbury Head, Christchurch Dorset
I love pre-shoots at Hengistbury Head in Christchurch, there is something about the mixture of grassy fields, mossy woodland, sand and beach-huts that just brings out the fun in people. Sam & Becca were no exception! :)
With Becca being a teacher, the school holidays over Easter was a great time to get together before their summer wedding, and with exactly 4 months to the day it was even more perfect timing. The weather started off a bit dull with the threat of rain, but the skies held back and we were treated to some lovely sunshine poking through the fluffy white clouds that eased the chilly breeze.
Not only were Sam and Becca a lovely loving couple, they also expressed their fun side and were very natural together in front of the lens, I cant wait to document their special day at The Tudor Barn in Burnham, Buckinghamshire!
Emma + Jordan's Winter Wedding - Milton Abbey, Blandford Forum, Dorset
Emma + Jordan both work at Milton Abbey School, so getting married at the Abbey in the school grounds was the perfect choice for their December wedding.
The weather started out all misty and grey, but in the end played fair and we were treated to a gorgeous golden hour!
This was a short commission as the bride's father, a keen photographer, wanted to cover most of the day, however, he would have struggled to document himself walking down the aisle with his daughter :)
It was an honour to photograph their ceremony at such an amazing and jaw dropping venue!

Brad + Steph's Pre-shoot - Great Fosters, Surrey
Brad and Steph chose to have their pre-shoot at the location of their wedding, which is to be at Great Fosters in Surrey in October 2017. They wanted to have the pre-shoot there at the same time of year so they could use the images for their save-the-date cards, and also get a feel of what the venue would be like for their autumn wedding.
Luckily for us, the cold and misty morning weather lifted, revealing beautiful gardens and providing a lovely warm light. Brad an Steph, like many couples, were a little nervous at the beginning, I guess the cold didn't help too much either! However, after warming up and getting used the camera, their fun and playful sides started to show :)
Looking forward to repeating some of the scenes next Autumn with their family and friends on their special day.
Sarah + Ian's wedding, Miramar Hotel, Bournemouth Beach
First of all what a glorious day! Sarah and Ian could not have dreamt of better weather for their big occasion. Blue skies and fluffy clouds followed them where ever they went!
The Miramar Hotel on Bournemouth sea front set the scene for a beautiful garden ceremony, followed by celebrations and partying into the night. The happy-go-lucky couple and their friends were also able to have a giggle on the beach as well (sorry Ian and Sarah, who walked up and down the rather steep zig-zag path...twice!)
Thank you both for letting us share your fun-filled day, it was a pleasure, and we wish you so much happiness!
Anna + Danny's wedding - All Saints Church, Southbourne and Lord Bute Hotel, Highcliffe
Anna and Danny's September wedding took place at All Saints Church in Southbourne, and was followed by celebrations at the Lord Bute Hotel in Highcliffe.
These two wonderful people could not have shown more love for each other, the amazing day was filled with the sound of laughter (as you can see by the photo-story below!) accompanied many times with tears of joy.
It really was a complete honour, not just to document such a lovely couple, but to be allowed to be a part of such an important day in their lives.

Charlie + James' Wedding - Talbot Heath School, Bournemouth
Charlie + James' beautiful summer wedding, organised by the lovely ladies at Bellissimo, was the first wedding that we have had the pleasure to photograph at Talbot Heath School.
Definitely one of the longest weddings we have ever documented, the day starting early at 7.30am with the boys having a trim and wet shave at the uber cool Gentlemen & Rogues Club in Poole. Later the girls got ready with plenty of bubbly in the blazing sunshine by the pool, whilst having hair and make-up beautifully done by Laura MacKenzie and Tara Sanger before heading off to the venue.
I was so chuffed they could have their ceremony outside in the serenity of the Quadrant Lawn, the only shame being the wind that kept picking the giant balloons up! Fortunately this was no problem for Hitched Films and their drones who captured some amazing footage.
Afternoon Tea was a delight and the celebrations continued with the music from live band BB3, fun and games with Absolute Fun Casino and scrummy hog roast by Posh Pigs.
We were thrilled to be part of Charlie & James's special day, and honoured to document for such a lovely couple. Fabulous day had by all!

Anna + Danny's Engagement Shoot - Sandbanks, Poole
After having met 10 years ago whilst both working at the Sandbanks Hotel in Poole, Anna and Danny appropriately chose Sandbanks beach for their pre-wedding photoshoot. The area clearly means an awful lot to them - there were plenty of stories as they happily reminisced about that summer and those that followed.
Anna and Danny are one of the most loveliest and energetic couples I have had the pleasure to photograph, and it was a joy to get to know them better before their big day in September. They will be getting married at All Saints Church Southbourne, with a fun-filled reception afterwards at The Lord Bute Hotel in Christchurch. Looking forward very much to documenting their day.
