My Background
I'm a photographer living in Christchurch on the Dorset coast.
My career started as a graphic designer working in London agencies. After being immersed in the industry for over 15 years, I began to incorporate my passion for photography into my work and nearly 15 years later I have not looked back! Fast forward into 5 of those years and I was asked to photograph a friends wedding. I spent the day buzzing and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge that a wedding shoot presents, ever since that point I have slowly built my wedding repertoire sitting very nicely alongside my commercial work. It is such a pleasure to be able to get outdoors, work with people and express my creative eye and personal style through a lens.
I love being in nature, the great outdoors. I spend a lot of my free time walking and rambling, whether it be the beautiful Dorset coast or the much loved peaks of the Lake District, always camera in hand, whilst on the look out for the nearest cosy pub for a beer or two! Amongst the photography and outdoors, I love keeping myself fit in the gym, interior design, polar bears and an eclectic mix of very loud music!
Most of all I am down-to-earth, honest and approachable. I like to have fun, whenever my kids use the word 'adult' as a description of me, i always say "yes i am an adult, but certainly not a grown-up!"
My Style
A graphic eye along with my high-end, creative re-touching experience has influenced the post-production of my images immensely. I think creatively on every shoot, looking for light, new angles or ways to make your images look beautiful. I take my time in understanding you, getting to know you, work out your personalities and quirky characteristics or what makes you tick as a couple. I want to help you feel at ease in front of the camera that way we'll create the best memories. I thrive off challenges and am always eager to expand my portfolio into new areas and I love constantly challenging myself, not only creatively but technically too and evolve with our fast moving times.

I only stage, pose or dictate your event if you need the help. When I provide a photography service, it is always about you, the client, and your special day. If you need advise on timings I can help with that too.
I photograph in a natural reportage style, whilst mixing in timeless, creative portraits and close-up detail imagery to tell the story of your day. I see myself as a creative visual storyteller, someone who is there to help you remember the best day of your life, so I am discrete and follow my heart in documenting your day. I thrive off capturing all the details that you spent hours choosing and those raw moments, a split second in time, from the anticipation and nervous times through to happy laughter and tears of joy.
