Creative engagement and pre wedding shoots
I offer all of my couples a pre-wedding shoot as part of my wedding package. It's a chance for you to spend a couple of hours at a location of your choice, somewhere where you both feel relaxed and can let your hair down. It is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before the big day and will hopefully help build a little confidence in front of the lens. It also helps me to see how you are as a couple, whether you are adventurous and playful, shy or more reserved. I aim for my relaxed and easy-going nature to create an atmosphere you blossom-in as a couple, and then on your wedding day you can be your complete selves in front of your family, friends and the lens.
I love seeing the transformation in my couples as the pre-wedding shoot unfolds; shy and unsure quite quickly turns into relaxed, giggly and adventurous. Whilst I try to document as naturally as possible, I may suggest moments and provide a little direction; this not only gives ideas which are often taken through to the big day by each couple, but I find it lights creative sparks between my couples leading to beautiful personal photography.

Location, Location
The pre-wedding shoot not only provides beautiful bespoke imagery for you to keep, but also prepares you for the big day so you are as relaxed as you can be in front of the lens. Keeping this is mind, it is always helpful for the location of your pre-shoot to be somewhere that has meaning to you both, which straight away makes couples relax and enjoy themselves. It can be anywhere from a stroll along the beach to an amble through woods, a trip to your favourite museum or gallery, or even the place you got engaged.
Most of my shoots are within the Christchurch/Bournemouth area, and sometimes a bit further afield such as the Purbecks or New Forest. I am happy to travel further by arrangement, and its good to be flexible, especially with the British weather!
Couples
My couple photography shoots are available to anyone and are similar in style to my pre-wedding shoots. They are a great opportunity for those loved up couples who want to celebrate their love for each other without walking down the aisle.
We will capture beautiful moments at your favourite locations that will be supplied as digital negatives for you to keep. A truly special way to cherish these memories is to select your favourites to incorporate into one of our luxury coffee table books that will last a life-time.
